Under the direction of the Director and/or Assistant Director you will manage the pharmacy distribution system, pharmacy information systems and automation or procurement and inventory control of pharmaceuticals and supplies. They want someone with management experience to be responsible for direct and workflow supervision to lead pharmacists, staff pharmacists, technicians, technician assistants, purchasing techs, data management specialist, pyxis coordinator and inventory technicians. The Client is looking for someone capable of monitoring and maintaining compliance with department policies and procedures. The successful candidate will oversee the purchasing, receiving and distributing of all pharmaceuticals, IV Solutions and supplies. And finally the Client wants someone capable of prioritizing and organizing workflow so that pharmacy automation and computer systems operate effectively and efficiently. In order to qualify for this position you must have a Bachelors (or Doctoral) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program. As for work experience the successful candidate must have two years as a hospital pharmacist. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Are you still interested?
